Editing
We offer a range of on and off line editing tools from Avid, FCP and Autodesk. We provide scalable managed solutions for single or multiple suite collaborative working. Our network infrastructure provides an end-to-end tapeless workflow environment which brings together our editing, audio design, graphics and grading services.
Grade
Autodesk's Lustre grading system integrates seamlessly into our Smoke and Flame workflows, offering from HD up to 4K colouring. It offers exceptional flexibility with high-quality colour correction tools within standard and stereoscopic pipelines.
Audio Dubbing
Our dubbing mixers have an enviable list of credits for award winning advertising campaigns, network drama, comedy and entertainment programmes. Each studio has ISDN, voice booth and sound effects library. Our drama experience and facilities also include ADR and Foley.
Smoke and Flame
We operate five of the newest 2k Smokes, plus two Flames, running the latest 2012 software, connected together via a high speed Infiband network. Our HDCam SR recorders allow us to offer a complete 4:4:4 environment. This latest software also includes tools for conforming, editing, and compositing stereoscopic 3D content.
VFX & Motion Graphics
Our creative team specialise in creating and integrating visual effects, motion graphics and CGI into commercials, television and film projects. We offer the most powerful range of digital tools including Flame, Maya, After Effects with the latest plug-ins and PF Track to produce stunning results.
Animation
From initial design and art direction to final animation, we bring characters to life! We use Digicel Flipbook and ToonBoom Animate for 2D, Autodesk Maya and Pixar's Renderman for CG. We not only have the best tools for the job but also the knowledge, experience and passion to create character work that is both interesting and memorable.
File Encoding & Transfers
422.tv provides a high speed fibre link via Adstream for commercials delivery to all UK and International broadcasters. We are also fully equipped with the latest hardware and software for capturing and encoding video into Quicktime, Windows and MPEG from RED, P2, HD-CAM SR, HD-CAM, Digibeta, DVCam, DV Pro and Mini DV.
